Job summary

University of Houston seeks an Audio-Visual Support Specialist to provide classroom technologies assistance and maintenance. You will troubleshoot AV systems, install and support equipment, and work with student workers under supervision.

The role requires basic technical education and at least six months of related experience, with a focus on reliable service and timely issue resolution. All positions are security sensitive and require a background check.

Responsibilities

Description:

This position will provide Audio visual and classroomtechnologies support. Responsible for audio visual maintenance,installation, and troubleshooting. May function in a highly skilledtechnical capacity with minimal supervision.

MQ: Education: Requires the ability and knowledge for analysisand interpretation of procedures, policies and practices attainablethrough specific education and/or training programs in a specialtyor technical field. Advanced vocational or electronic skills or abasic knowledge of a professional field is required. An Associate'sdegree or certification/licensing in a technical specialty programof over 18 months and up to 3 years duration are characteristics ofthis field.

Experience: Requires a minimum of six (6) months of directlyjob-related experience. Cert/License: None.
