Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Audio Electronics Repair Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Nashville, TN. This role is ideal for a skilled electronics technician with hands-on experience repairing professional audio, video, RF, and hybrid hardware/software systems.

The Audio Electronics Repair Technician will perform advanced diagnostics, component-level troubleshooting, and repair work on complex electronic equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth diagnostics, fault isolation, and repairs on professional audio, video, RF, and electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment at the component level using schematics, test procedures, and technical documentation.
• Use test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and multimeters to identify and resolve failures.
• Service RF transmitters, receivers, antennas, amplifiers, and related electronic systems.
• Evaluate hardware/software hybrid systems and support repair work involving digital audio protocols and electronic control systems.
• Document findings, repair actions, and test results accurately to support quality and service standards.

Compensation and Benefits

Must have hands-on experience in audio equipment repair, soldering, and RF testing, including advanced wireless systems, wired microphones, headphones, speakers, digital audio interfaces, and other networking devices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Complete component-level diagnostics using schematics, test equipment, and technical documentation.
• Support repair and service work involving hardware/software hybrid systems.
• Test, validate, and document repaired equipment to ensure proper performance.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant electronics repair, audio equipment repair, video equipment repair, RF service, or related technical experience.
• Experience with professional audio or video equipment.
• Ability to independently perform in-depth diagnostics and repairs.
• Strong understanding of electronic schematics and circuit-level troubleshooting.
• Experience using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
• Knowledge of digital audio protocols such as DANTE, AES67, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with RF transmitters, receivers, antennas, amplifiers, and related electronic systems.
• Skilled in RF testing, fault isolation, component-level troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a professional audio, broadcast, live sound, AV integration, electronics manufacturing, or service center environment.
• Advanced familiarity with digital audio networking, signal flow, and audio system architecture.
• Experience repairing complex electronic systems that combine embedded software, firmware, and hardware.
• Background supporting advanced service work in a high-quality repair or technical support environment.
