Universal Music Group (UMG) is seeking an Audience Development Intern to support Capitol Music Group and related artist initiatives. The role focuses on coordinating across departments to launch audience programs, assist with email production, and help with fan acquisition and retention initiatives.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, proactive, and able to manage cross-functional information in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years working in marketing or related fields (internship or assistant experience OK).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
• Strong work ethic, upbeat, team player with no ego.
• Tech-savvy with good internet research skills.
• Passionate about music and fandom.

Responsabilités

• Support day-to-day email production and planning.
• Assist with developing audience growth strategies for long-term fan engagement.
• Support lead generation and customer acquisition programs (e.g., early access, sweepstakes).
• Recommend segmentation and customer journeys to deepen fan-to-artist connections.
• Contribute reports and analyses to drive business strategy.
