Job summary

RB Global in Lorain, OH, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for Yard Operations to provide exceptional support, answer inquiries, and process payments during live auctions. You will work with a energetic team across departments and help manage sale-day activities.

Ideal candidates have prior customer-facing experience, comfort with computers and data-entry, and a friendly, calm demeanor under pressure.

• Previous work experience working in-person with customers.
• Experience using computers and ability to learn new software.
• Excellent keyboarding skills for data entry.
• Commitment to providing fantastic customer service.

Responsibilities

• Organize keys and documents by internal coding system and upload documents to the web for each sale.
• Communicate with multiple departments and customers regarding required documents (LOLCs, purge documents, etc).
• Process payments from successful bidders.
• Provide customers with information about auxiliary services.
• Ensure superior customer service is delivered to all customers.
• Support RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: send everyone home safely by taking personal responsibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
