Job summary

RB Global Inc. is seeking a Yard Staff member to safely receive, process, line up, sale day support and check-out consigned equipment for the auction.

The role requires accurate handling and customer service as part of RB’s trusted, global marketplace. You will drive and operate heavy and light equipment, perform facility inspections, basic maintenance, manage equipment keys, set up signage, load/unload, and support auction day operations.

Qualifications

• Good customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to operate forklift and drive equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) consigned equipment for auction.
• Uses an auction listing to line up equipment for display prior to auction.
• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary.
• Performs basic maintenance on RB-owned equipment.
• Manages keys for equipment.
• Operates forklift to load/unload stationary row equipment.
• Boosts equipment.
• Basic assembly of equipment i.e. dozer blades, etc.
• Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment.
• Lot number equipment.
• Sets out signage, flagging, and trash receptacles for auction day.
• Drives sound truck.
• Holds ‘This item for sale sign’ (stick person).
• Places operators in rolling stock.
• Parks sold equipment on the ramp.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
