Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking incumbents to enter accurate vehicle details into our system using a Zebra handheld device at the auction. You will log VIN, stock numbers, dealer data, and vehicle specs, then label each car with barcodes and stock numbers.

You will also install OBDII trackers, guide transporters to drop zones, and support safety initiatives; other duties may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or <2 years related experience.
• Valid driver's license required; safe driving expected.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Standing, walking, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting 1–15 pounds are required.

Responsibilities

• Input vehicle data into the system using a Zebra TC handheld device.
• Record VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage and color.
• Affix barcode/stock sticker on each vehicle.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles.
• Install OBDII tracking device.
• Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.
• Support safety programs and assist on sale days as needed.
