Cox Automotive is seeking an Auction Support Specialist to work on-site at a Manheim location in Kansas City, MO. The role supports the auction day process by recording vehicle details, verifying sold information, and assisting the auctioneer, with potential remote duties for efficiency.

The position is part-time (approximately 15-20 hours per week, Tue–Thu). Candidate should have a High School Diploma, strong communication, and organizational skills; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Generally less than 2 years of experience.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to stay focused in fast-paced sale-day activities.
• Vision requirements for close/distance/color/depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Record lane and Simulcast bid amounts in AS400; enter customer data and verify sold units.
• Collaborate with auctioneer remotely to ensure accurate system information.
• Verify vehicle run order and ensure correct vehicle is keyed for sale.
• Operate monitor remotely; review Simulcast bids with auctioneer.
• Provide arbitration and vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer.
• Handle late titles via calls and emails; use Salesforce for title absent support.
• Respond to customer requests through phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
