Job summary

Heritage Auctions is seeking an entry-level associate to present consignment items, including sorting, cleaning, and labeling, and to help unpack, tag, and enter property information into the database. You will assist with client pickups after auctions, image items, and support pre- and post-auction tasks.

Proficiency with Outlook and Excel is required, and you must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred, though entry-level opportunities exist.
• Interest in comics or collectibles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter item information into the computer system accurately.
• Ensure all items are imaged on time.
• Prepare (sort, clean, and label) items for auction.
• Assist with client pickups after auctions.
• Pre- and post-auction tasks as assigned.
