Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. seeks a Manager to develop attorneys across NY offices.

You will support attorney training, performance review processes, and collaborate with the firm’s Talent Team to address developmental needs through the competency-based system. As part of the Learning & Professional Development Team, you’ll design and deliver programs in leadership, mentoring, client service, and business development, with a focus on turning insights into practical career growth for associates, Of

Qualifications

• The successful Manager must be solution-driven and have outstanding project management skills demonstrated across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of and proven proficiency in adult learning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results.
• Creative thinker with problem solving and leadership development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate orienting and integrating new attorneys.
• Support the summer associate program and law grad program, as requested.
• Manage performance processes for offices; provide feedback collection and synthesis.
• Provide 1:1 professional development advising on skills such as timeline management and mentorship.
• Be a resource for associates, Of Counsel and Principals on day-to-day questions.
• Support development of individual development plans with attorneys.
• Facilitate meetings and training with the Litigation Training Coach.
• Design PD programming for different career stages including leadership, mentoring and client service.
• Recommend ideas for local mentoring program implementation and resources.
• Contribute to other PD initiatives and special projects.
