Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution is seeking a mid-level Law and Motion Associate to join its San Diego office on a remote basis, handling sophisticated civil defense matters with access to trial and appellate lawyers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in litigation, California Bar membership, and a JD from an accredited law school; excellent research and writing; a base salary of $125,000–$180,000 with a performance bonus, plus health, 401(k), PTO and in-house training.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in litigation; ideally up to 10 years.
• Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Exceptional research and writing skills; law review, clerkship or writing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft pretrial motions and oppositions, including pleadings, discovery and dispositive motions.
• Prepare trial documents: motions in limine, trial briefs, pocket briefs and jury instructions.
• Draft post-trial motions, including motions for new trial and attorney fees.
• Support appellate matters: briefs and appellate arguments with senior attorney guidance.
• Conduct legal research and shape litigation strategy with lead attorneys.

We Are Legal Revolution is working discreetly with a well established national litigation defense firm with Fortune 500 exposure seeking a mid level Law and Motion Associate to join its San Diego office on a Remote basis.

This role offers direct access to sophisticated civil defense matters, where your written advocacy strengthens strategy across multiple practice groups. You will work closely with experienced trial and appellate lawyers, gain meaningful responsibility from the outset, and build a long term litigation career within a growing multi office platform.

The Role

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a mid level Law and Motion Associate with:

• At least 2 years of experience, ideally up to 10 years, in litigation focused practice
• Experience with insurance coverage or civil defense matters and strong motion practice skills
• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing
• A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Exceptional research and writing skills, with law review, clerkship or significant writing experience preferred
• $125,000 to $180,000 base salary, depending on experience
