Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in California seeks a mid to senior level Civil Defense Litigation Attorney to join its Sacramento office on a remote basis. You will manage general liability, premises liability and related disputes, with direct access to partners and meaningful client contact.

Ideal candidates will have 5–20 years of civil defense experience, California Bar admission, and a law degree; in-office presence 3 days/week in Sacramento is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of civil defense matters including general liability and premises liability.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for insurers, TPAs, and self-insured clients on assigned files; handle investigations, pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation with increasing advocacy responsibility.
• Collaborate with partners and take substantive ownership of cases.

We Are Legal Revolution is working discreetly with a well established California defense litigation boutique with an institutional client base seeking a mid to senior level Civil Defense Litigation Attorney to join its Sacramento office on a remote basis.

This is a strong platform for an experienced defense litigator who wants meaningful responsibility across varied general liability, premises, personal injury and habitability matters for insurers, third party administrators and self insured clients. The Role

• Manage a varied caseload of civil defense matters including general liability, premises liability and related disputes
• Act as day to day contact for insurer, TPA, self insured and business clients on assigned filesHandle investigation, pleadings, motion practice, written discovery and deposition preparation throughout litigation
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations and trial preparation with increasing advocacy responsibility
• Work closely with partners in a collaborative team while taking substantive ownership of your cases

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a mid to senior level Civil Defense Litigation Attorney with:

• 5 to 20 years of civil defense litigation experience
• Background in general liability and premises liability defense, with personal injury or habitability experience preferred
• Admission to the California Bar
• A law degree from an accredited institution
• Ability to work in Sacramento with in office presence 3 days per week
• $150,000 to $200,000 base salary depending on experience
• Reasonable billable expectation of approximately 1,900 hours
