We Are Legal Revolution is seeking a mid level Insurance Defense Associate for its San Diego office on a Remote basis. The firm offers access to sophisticated insurance defense matters for major carriers and commercial insureds, with meaningful courtroom and client responsibility from day one.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of insurance defense litigation experience, California bar admission, and can work fully remotely.

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense litigation matters including general liability, premises and products cases.
• Handle all phases of litigation from initial evaluation and pleadings through discovery, motion practice and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, coverage related memoranda and reports to insurers and insureds.
• Take and defend depositions, appear in court, argue motions and participate in mediations and settlement conferences.
• Collaborate directly with partners and clients on strategy, case evaluation, risk assessment and file management.

The Role

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense litigation matters including general liability, premises and products cases

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a mid level Insurance Defense Associate with:

• 3 to 8 years of insurance defense litigation experience with active courtroom exposure
• Background in general liability, premises, product liability or related defense side work
• Bar admission in California and ability to practice in state courts
• No minimum law school ranking requirement beyond a strong record of practical performance
• Fully Remote
• $160,000 to $200,000 base salary depending on experience
• Semi annual tiered bonus structure from 1,950 hours plus discretionary year end bonus
