Job summary

Haynes and Boone seeks a senior professional to oversee firm-wide attorney development, training and programming. The role reports to the Director of Attorney Development and collaborates with practice group leaders and department heads to advance training and career growth.

Responsibilities include designing in-house programs, onboarding, mentoring, and coordinating evaluation cycles across offices, with a focus on growth, promotion, and retention of associates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in professional development or practice support, ideally at peer law firms.
• JD strongly preferred; coaching certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage firm-wide in-house legal training programs and presentations.
• Plan and coordinate section-specific training and onboarding.
• Lead mentoring and leadership development programs for attorneys at all levels.
• Oversee Attorney Development budget and allocate resources.
• Coordinate onboarding and performance reviews for international offices.
