Job summary

Sterlington PLLC is a full-service law firm seeking an experienced People Development professional to build a scalable attorney development program for a fully remote team aligned with US Eastern Time hours.

You will design feedback cadences, coach associates, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive data-informed decisions across the Americas, joining the People Team to partner with firm leadership.

Qualifications

• Legal or attorney-development background, preferably in a law firm or legal tech.
• Strong L&D program design skills grounded in adult learning theory.
• Real coaching and mentoring experience as a people manager.
• Working knowledge of US employment law and its application to development.
• A data-driven approach to analyze utilization and performance metrics.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build a feedback cadence around the firm culture to support growth.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with partners and firm leadership.
• Create a sense of community and belonging for associates.
• Own learning and development programs end-to-end.
• Coach and mentor associates and address performance concerns.
• Use utilization and performance data to drive decisions.
• Contribute to talent acquisition efforts and future programs.
• Speak with authority to represent attorney development within the firm.
