Job Type: Full-Time; remote based on experience and qualifications. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in Indiana (state and federal).
• Dual licensure with Illinois given consideration.
• Proficient with MS Office and hourly billing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, orders, discovery and legal memoranda.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery, conduct legal research, take and defend depositions.
• Review client documents, draft case evaluations and prepare status report correspondence.
• Assist with and participate in mediations, pretrial settlement conferences and court appearances.
• Interact directly with clients, claim professionals, opposing counsel, colleagues and staff; manage a substantive caseload.
• Perform complex legal work with substantial discretion and minimal direction.

Jendryk, Hamer & Begley, LLC is seeking Attorneys to join its growing Insurance Defense Civil Litigation practice in Indianapolis, IN.

Ideal candidates must be licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana with prior experience in insurance defense civil litigation preferred.

Additional consideration if also licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.

Responsibilities

Attorneys will be expected to perform the following tasks:

• Draft pleadings, motions, orders, discovery and legal memoranda.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery, conduct legal research, and take and defend depositions.
• Review client documents, draft case evaluations and prepare status report correspondence.
• Assist with and participate in mediations, pretrial settlement conferences and court appearances.
• Interact directly with clients, claim professionals, opposing counsel, colleagues and staff; and manage a substantive case load.
• Perform a variety of difficult and complex legal work and operate with substantial discretion and minimal direction or supervision.

Job Type: Full-Time remote based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: Competitive annual salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Candidates must:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Indiana (both state and federal) with additional consideration given to dual licensure with the State of Illinois.
• Proficient with MS Office and hourly billing platforms.
• Demonstrate strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Proactively work both independently and as part of a team.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skill and navigate hearings in state and federal court with poise and professionalism.
