Job summary

Jendryk, Hamer & Begley, LLC in Indianapolis seeks Attorneys to join its Insurance Defense Civil Litigation practice. Ideal candidates are licensed in Indiana, with prior experience preferred. Additional consideration if also licensed to practice law in Illinois.

Job Type: Full-Time; remote based on experience and qualifications. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in Indiana (state and federal).
• Dual licensure with Illinois given consideration.
• Proficient with MS Office and hourly billing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, orders, discovery and legal memoranda.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery, conduct legal research, take and defend depositions.
• Review client documents, draft case evaluations and prepare status report correspondence.
• Assist with and participate in mediations, pretrial settlement conferences and court appearances.
• Interact directly with clients, claim professionals, opposing counsel, colleagues and staff; manage a substantive caseload.
• Perform complex legal work with substantial discretion and minimal direction.
