Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is seeking a Donation Center Attendant in Willoughby, OH. The role involves greeting donors, processing donations, and ensuring the donation center runs smoothly and safely.

You will hand receipts, track daily counts, and maintain a positive donor experience while upholding Goodwill's mission at the center. This is an hourly, full-time position with benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Good people skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open the ADC each day on a regular schedule, and secure it at the end of the day.
• Greet donors promptly and courteously (within 10 seconds), unload donations from vehicles, and keep accurate daily counts.
• Hand every donor a receipt and end every interaction with "You changed a life today, Thank you!"
• Break down donations into categories
• Keep the drive-through and ADC site clean and up to image standards
• Order and maintain supplies, and keep them secure
• Tell your supervisor about large items that can't be stored at the ADC so a truck can pick them up
• Help the Transportation team with equipment deliveries and pickups when possible
• Attend in-service training as assigned
• Follow all safety policies

Donation Center Attendants play a vital role in creating a positive donor experience while supporting and sharing Goodwill's mission.
