Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is seeking an Attended Donation Center Attendant in Willoughby, OH. This hourly, full-time role involves greeting donors, processing donations, and maintaining a welcoming center aligned with Goodwill's mission.

You will manage daily operations, provide receipts, and work with the Transportation team for item pickups while adhering to safety policies and quality standards.

Qualificações

• Good people skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Open the ADC each day on a regular schedule and secure it at the end of the day.
• Greet donors promptly and courteously and unload donations from vehicles; keep accurate daily counts.
• Hand every donor a receipt and end every interaction with a positive thank-you message.
• Break down donations into categories and keep the site clean and up to image standards.
• Order and maintain supplies and keep them secure.
• Notify supervisor about large items for pickup; assist Transportation with deliveries and pickups.
• Attend in-service training as assigned and follow safety policies.

About the Job

Join us in making a meaningful impact in Willoughby, Ohio! Be the friendly face and first point of contact for Goodwill at our donation centers. Donation Center Attendants play a vital role in creating a positive donor experience while supporting and sharing Goodwill's mission. As an ADC Attendant, you'll greet and thank donors, give them tax receipts, and keep the donation site running to agency standards.

Responsibilities

• Open the ADC each day on a regular schedule, and secure it at the end of the day
• Greet donors promptly and courteously (within 10 seconds), unload donations from vehicles, and keep accurate daily counts
• Hand every donor a receipt and end every interaction with "You changed a life today, Thank you!"
• Break down donations into categories
• Keep the drive-through and ADC site clean and up to image standards
• Order and maintain supplies, and keep them secure
• Tell your supervisor about large items that can't be stored at the ADC so a truck can pick them up
• Help the Transportation team with equipment deliveries and pickups when possible
• Attend in-service training as assigned
• Follow all safety policies

Requirements:

• Ability to wear a company uniform, including an identification badge
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
