Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of clerical experience is preferred.
• Ability to use Skyward and standard office software for attendance records.

Responsibilities

• Understands and supports Harmony Public Schools' mission, vision and values.
• Ensures teachers take class attendance for all periods in Skyward as described in the attendance manual.
• Ensures attendance reports are accurate and error-free.
• Generates required attendance reports.
• Inputs attendance information into Skyward and verifies accuracy.
• Verifies absences by collecting required documentation from parents/guardians.
• Maintains campus attendance binder and related documentation.
• Checks with teachers to verify attendance and corrects absences submitted in Skyward.
• Communicates consecutive absences to staff and sends attendance letters/emails.
• Prepares attendance documentation for truancy cases and quarterly reviews.
• Maintains method of instruction designation for all students in Skyward.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
