Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking motivated Field Service Technicians to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ATMs in the Hartford, CT area. This entry-level role includes comprehensive technical training, with no prior ATM repair experience required.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, replace faulty components, manage parts inventory, and ensure timely customer service resolutions while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Entry-level candidates with 0–1 year of relevant experience encouraged to apply.
• Previous ATM repair experience is not mandatory.
• Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, including troubleshooting and minor component replacements, is essential.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to learn new procedures quickly.
• Candidates must demonstrate integrity, reliability, professionalism, and ability to work independently.
• A reliable vehicle and valid driving credentials are required for field service.
• An Android smartphone is mandatory for work orders and documentation.
• Candidates must provide their own basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• ATM Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, troubleshooting, and component replacements at the module or FRU level.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment issues using service requests, docs, and logs; identify root cause and fix accordingly.
• Equipment Support: Install, replace, and maintain ATM components following procedures and guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Maintain records of spare parts, tools, and equipment; track replacements.
• Customer Service & Issue Resolution: Own service requests and ensure timely resolution per SLAs; communicate updates to customers.
• Service Documentation & Reporting: Record service calls, repair activities, equipment status, and parts usage.
• Safety & Security Compliance: Follow safety, security, and operational procedures for financial equipment and client sites.
• Training & Development: Complete required training and certifications; build troubleshooting capabilities.
