Job summary

Southeast Community College is seeking a part-time Athletics Support Staff to assist in the Lincoln campus athletics department for 2026-2027.

Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment, scouting, driving vans, mentoring student-athletes, teaching basic skills, working with media, and supporting game and practice operations. Applicants must have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, and on the phone.
• Ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds for short distances and move media equipment.
• Must be able to work varied days, hours, shifts, locations, and campuses as required.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for auto insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with player recruitment.
• Scouting and viewing films of upcoming games.
• Driving vans to away games.
• Advising student‑athletes in their pursuit of athletic goals.
• Teaching basic and complex skills.
• Working with the media.
• Attendance at both games and practices.
• Development of strength and conditioning for practice season.
• Supervising the gym or other duties as assigned.
