Job summary

California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is seeking an Assistant Registrar, Athletic Evaluation to oversee the day-to-day management of student-athlete academic records. The role acts as the primary Enrollment Services contact and ensures compliance with NCAA and Big West eligibility rules.

The position requires expert knowledge of admissions policies, staff supervision, and strong analytical skills, with responsibility for Athletics module SIS support and reporting to the campus

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of admissions policies and NCAA/Big West eligibility rules.
• Experience supervising staff and balancing multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of student information systems and academic advising or student records.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily processing of student-athlete academic records including admissions, eligibility, and progress to degree.
• Serve as Enrollment Services contact and subject matter expert on NCAA/Big West eligibility and report concerns to the CSULB Compliance Officer.
• Supervise two Evaluator I staff and oversee Club Sports eligibility processing.
