As the Assistant Registrar, Athletic Evaluation for StudentRecords, this position is responsible for the day to dayadministrative oversight of processing of student-athlete academicrecords, including but not limited to admissions, competitioneligibility, compliance monitoring, and progress to degree. Theyserve as the primary Enrollment Services contact and the campussubject matter expert on NCAA, Big West Conference, and other NCAAconference eligibility criteria and rules, ensures compliance andreports any concerns or violations to the campus NCAA ComplianceOfficer in CSULB Athletics.
Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable,inclusive, and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality ofcampus life. This position uses a student-centered andequity-minded approach in all communication and serviceefforts.

Expert knowledge ofrules and regulations promulgated by both the NCAA and Big Westconference regarding the eligibility of student-athletes topractice and compete. Functionalunderstanding of database structures, information systems,cloud-based systems and data extraction. Knowledge of and abilityto use: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Camtasia Studio, Visio,Service Now software. Ability to analyze user needs and translateinto appropriate complex rules in support of business processes.Able to learn new systems and feature updates quickly and translateto communications, tutorials, and documents that are applicable andeasy to understand for campus users, especially advising andsupport staff Excellent communication skills, both verbal andwritten.
