Job summary

California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is seeking an Assistant Registrar, Athletic Evaluation to oversee the day-to-day administration of student-athlete academic records, admissions, and eligibility. You will act as the campus expert on NCAA and Big West rules and ensure compliance across athletics.

You will manage the Athletics module systems, supervise two Evaluator I staff, and collaborate with athletics and registrar colleagues to support equitable, student-centered services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with upper/graduate coursework in counseling or related fields; three years in student services.
• Experience in enrollment services, advising, or athletics eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily processing of student-athlete academic records, admissions, eligibility, and progress to degree.
• Serve as primary Enrollment Services contact and NCAA/Big West eligibility expert; report concerns to CSULB Athletics Compliance.
• Supervise two Evaluator I staff and oversee Club Sports eligibility processing.
