Job summary

California State University, Fresno seeks an experienced Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development to lead all fundraising efforts for Athletics. You will supervise staff, coordinate with The Bulldog Foundation and University Advancement, and ensure compliance with NCAA and CSU policies to drive donor engagement and scholarship funding.

The role requires a proven track record of soliciting major gifts, building a sustainable fundraising program, and inspiring a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations/communications, kinesiology, or sports administration preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience managing a development department for a Division I athletics program.
• Experience cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major donors at high six- and seven-figure levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all development and fundraising activities for the Department of Athletics.
• Supervise fundraising staff and coordinate with The Bulldog Foundation and University Advancement.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA, Pac-12, CASE, CSU policies and procedures.
• Serve as liaison with The Bulldog Foundation Board of Directors and coordinate prospect management.
