Job summary

California State University, Fresno is seeking a Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development (Administrator II) to lead all development and fundraising activities for the Athletics Department, including supervising fundraising staff within The Bulldog Foundation.

The Bulldog Foundation provides funding for scholarships, recruitment, facilities, and strategic initiatives to help Bulldog student‑athletes succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, public relations/communications, kinesiology, or sports administration preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience managing a development department for a Division I athletics program and/or a comprehensive intercollegiate athletics program.
• Master’s degree in sports administration or business administration preferred.
• Experience managing and growing a scholarship fund over $3.5M per year.
• Experience with capital campaigns for intercollegiate athletics programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all development and fundraising activities for the Athletics Department, including supervision of fundraising staff within The Bulldog Foundation.
• Ensure department operates in compliance with NCAA, Pac-12, CASE, CSU policies and procedures.
• Coordinate prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, gift acknowledgment, and stewardship.
• Serve as primary liaison with The Bulldog Foundation Board of Directors.
