Job summary

Furman University is seeking an Athletics Compliance Director to lead and administer a comprehensive NCAA compliance program. You will supervise NIL education initiatives, monitor activities, and collaborate with staff, student-athletes, and external partners to ensure full regulatory adherence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years in compliance or athletics administration, with strong communication and data reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and at least 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations as an administrator.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to compile data and prepare, write and review reports.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office and ability to learn compliance software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NCAA bylaws compliance for specified sections.
• Serve as liaison for NIL education and coordinate with campus and external partners.
• Monitor NIL activities to ensure compliance and reporting.
• Oversee transfer portal and roster management.
• Assist with NCAA annual reports and season declarations.
• Educate staff, faculty, student-athletes and boosters on NCAA rules.
• Develop and implement athletics compliance policies and procedures.
• Investigate NCAA violations and provide interpretations as needed.
