Job summary

Florida International University in Miami is seeking an Athletics Compliance professional to analyze and implement NCAA and campus policies, ensuring adherence and reducing risk across programs.

The role supports the Associate Director of Athletics Compliance, coordinates with registrar, SAAC, and other offices, and maintains data systems such as CAI and Teamworks Elite to track eligibility and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and seven (7) years of appropriate experience.
• Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and five (5) years of appropriate experience.
• Experience with NCAA compliance systems and databases is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes NCAA, Conference USA, and campus regulations in a consistent and uniform manner.
• Assists with determining eligibility status for student-athletes and analyzes certifications.
• Maintains unit's computing database and inputs athletic eligibility information in CAI/Teamworks Elite.
• Acts as liaison to create PeopleSoft queries and coordinate Athletic participation coding.
• Provides administrative support and ensures records are readily available to the unit.
