Job summary

Roosevelt University is seeking an Athletic Admission Counselor to recruit first-year and transfer student-athletes and guide them through the application and enrollment process.

You will work closely with the athletic division, attend coaches meetings, and collaborate with Financial Aid and Academic Advising to support student-athletes’ success. The hybrid role requires on-campus presence at our Chicago campus three days per week.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• At least 1 year of experience in admission, higher ed or NCAA/Athletics.
• Knowledge of NCAA admission process and athletics recruitment at the university level.
• Ability to manage external and internal relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism in advising prospective students.

Responsibilities

• Manage student-athlete recruitment from inquiry to matriculation.
• Coordinate on-campus recruitment events and official visits with coaches.
• Guide student-athletes through the enrollment process with families and school partners.
• Use CRM and other tools to manage applications and outreach.
