Advocate Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide care for collegiate and professional events, integrating with the Sports Medicine Team to deliver on-site coverage and acute medical care as needed.

The role requires a CAATE-accredited degree, BOC certification, and state licensure eligibility within 30 days, along with on-site coverage responsibilities and documentation duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from a CAATE program.
• Current BOC-credentialed Athletic Trainer.
• License or eligibility for state licensure within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to collegiate/professional events.
• Assist with event coverage and sports medicine teamwork.
• Provide acute medical care on the field during practices or events.
• Perform clinical injury evaluation and decide on treatment plans.
• Document treatment, referrals, and inventory as required.
• Maintain emergency action plans for each venue.
