New Balance in Santana Row, CA is seeking Retail Sales Associates to help ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer service. You will educate customers on product features and benefits, assist with fitting, and positively represent the brand.

Applicants should be 18+ with strong communication and teamwork. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required; prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model.
• Greet customers, understand needs, educate on product features and benefits.
• Solve customer problems and answer questions, close the sale.
• Measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product.
• Inform customers about promotions and keep the floor neat and stocked.
• Attach/detach security tags and report shrinkage or security concerns.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents or near misses.
