Job summary

Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire, seeks a Grounds Supervisor to coordinate outdoor field operations and support the Athletics Division. You will mentor Grounds and Events staff, manage field setups, coordinate equipment and labor, and ensure timely customer service for events and campus activities.

You will lead winter snow operations, plan and supervise crews, and maintain turf programs while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid motor vehicle operator's license and DOT medical card.
Four years of related experience in athletic facilities maintenance and repair for a college/university athletic department or similar setting.

Responsibilities

Oversee operation and maintenance of outdoor NCAA intercollegiate fields and university fields.
Respond to work orders for field setups and athletic event setups.
Plan, schedule, assign, inspect, and supervise daily turf/grounds staff.
Prepare outdoor facilities for athletic and university events and estimate personnel needs.
Develop turf grass maintenance programs for playing fields.
Forecast field infrastructure repairs, replacements and improvements.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate status to customers.
