Job summary

Anne Arundel County Public Schools seeks a Groundsperson to perform grounds maintenance, assist with athletic field prep, and support repairs of turf, walkways and fencing. Responsibilities include seasonal duties, safety, and collaboration with teams across facilities.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year related experience preferred. CDL Class A is preferred; a valid Maryland DL is required.

• Prepare athletic grounds for games and events.
• Assist with concrete and asphalt repairs.
• Erect and repair chain link fences.
• Inspect and maintain playground equipment.
• Operate grounds equipment and trucks as required.
• Support snow removal and related duties.
