Qualifications

• Ability to acquire some skill in the use of equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods and under unfavorable weather conditions.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy manual labor on roads, drainage, and maintenance projects.
• Dig, shovel, and lay asphalt and concrete; tamp and smooth surfaces.
• Maintain road rights of way, plant and trim shrubbery, mow grass, and clean areas.
• Paint and repair bleachers, signs, and field areas; stripe roads as needed.
• Operate power tools and equipment as required for duties.
• Assist with landfill grounds, debris removal, and related tasks.
