Job summary

Shaw Sports Turf, a leading American-owned synthetic turf company, seeks a Territory Manager in the U.S. Northeast region. You will identify and close opportunities, manage distributors, and travel to call on customers while presenting product benefits to stakeholders in athletic facilities.

The role requires 5+ years in outside sales, strong relationship-building skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, field-based environment. Remote support is available as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED.
• 5 years previous outside sales experience or qualified sales training program completion.
• 50% to 75% Travel required.
• Must reside within territory.

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach with end users, distributors, contractors, architects, engineers, etc. to select appropriate systems for their projects that fit within their usage requirements, budget, and time frame.
• Establish / maintain relationships and grow distribution partners.
• Give presentations to end-users, school boards, facilities management personnel, senior level stakeholders in athletic programs, architects, and engineers, to educate them how Shaw Sports Turf can benefit their facilities.
• Travel throughout the assigned area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers to solicit business.
• Build relationships with existing and new customers by entertaining lunches, dinners, or special events.
• Attend Regional and National Conventions when required.
