Job summary

Dartmouth College is hiring a Concessions Assistant for athletic events across campus. This 6-month term, part-time role involves assisting with food and beverage sales, operating a cash register, and maintaining cleanliness in line with policy.

You will interact with the public in a courteous manner, handle payments accurately, and perform light cleaning duties. Prior food service experience is a plus, and willingness to work outdoors is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Basic cleanliness procedures and general sanitation regulations.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work varied shifts and required overtime.
• Must be willing to work outside.

Responsibilities

• Assists with concessions sales.
• Handles food in line with cleanliness protocol and sanitation regulations.
• Runs a cash register and processes payments.
• Interacts with the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Carries out light cleaning duties associated with the Concessions position.
