Lead a high-performing team, manage operations and merchandising, and partner with the Store Manager to hire, train, and develop talent while delivering exceptional customer experiences across the community.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Store Manager to develop and execute annual growth plans, forecast 90+ days out, and support programs (e.g., BOPIS, ship-from-store).
• Directly manages a team of Captains (Supervisors) and coaches broader staff; handles performance reviews and promotions.
• Upholds merchandising standards, executes floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation; drives loyalty programs and product education.
• Leads training initiatives to ensure teammates are trained to deliver elevated athlete experiences and personal accountability.
• Partners with Store Manager on staffing plans; oversees payroll and scheduling to meet budget goals and adapt to traffic and sales trends.
• Hires and builds strong teams; owns hiring decisions for Captain/Supervisor and hourly staff; coaches on interviewing.
