Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Team Captain – Endzone & Loyalty to lead the athlete experience on the sales floor. You will coach teammates and drive engagement in loyalty programs while delivering fast, friendly, and accurate checkout experiences to athletes of all abilities.

You will recruit, onboard, and mentor direct reports, ensuring they are trained and supported. This role emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by providing clear, accurate information about products and maintaining merchandising standards.
• Support development of 30-60-90 day plans to support department priorities and staffing.
• Create effective schedules and manage payroll to meet goals.
• Build a strong team through hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and accountability.
• Enforce policies on safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
