Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking an Advisor to deliver a high-touch, athlete-focused shopping experience in-store. You will guide customers through checkout, loyalty programs, and services with confidence and expertise, building connections and driving engagement to ensure a seamless journey for athletes of all abilities.

The role emphasizes coachability, accountability, collaboration, and trustworthiness while upholding safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to greet customers and understand their needs with product knowledge.
• Commitment to safety, policies, and positive store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and athletes; assess needs and guide shopping with product knowledge and customer service.
• Uphold merchandising standards and manage floor sets, signage, pricing, and stock replenishment.
• Promote loyalty programs, warranty sales, and credit card enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and store policies; comply with external regulations.
• Foster an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
• Support the team across the store as needed; perform other duties as assigned.
