Aksia is seeking a Junior IT Systems Administrator to join our Athens-based Information Technology team. This hands-on role focuses on day-to-day IT support, ticket management, and end-user assistance to keep our enterprise environment running smoothly.

As you grow, you will contribute to broader systems projects with more experienced team members, gaining exposure to infrastructure, security, and maintenance tasks in a professional, global firm setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT experience in general IT support or junior systems administration.
• Experience supporting Windows 11 users and troubleshooting common issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, user accounts, permissions, and endpoint management.
• Exposure to Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Basic networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi).
• Experience using any ticketing or service desk system.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities across teams.
• Collaborative approach; PowerShell is a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-user support: provide first-line technical assistance to employees for hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer and IT equipment issues onsite and remotely.
• Assist in system maintenance: updates, patches and antivirus scans.
• Administer user accounts and permissions per policy.
• Assist in hardware and software installation for new employees.
• Maintain IT asset records and support procurement activities.
• Help troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi-Fi configurations and LAN setup.
• Create and maintain IT process documentation.
