Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Full-time ATC Training Lab Manager for the Anchorage Approach Control (A11) facility in Anchorage, AK. The role focuses on administering ATC training simulations, coordinating with Course Managers and Lead Instructors, and overseeing contractor personnel supporting the contract.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of a high school diploma and basic computer proficiency; 1 year in an Air Traffic Controller Lab.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a lab schedule and act as focal point for scheduling changes.
• Ensure lab equipment is ready for use as per schedule.
• Record start/stop times and required data inputs for simulations.
• Monitor lab positions for proper equipment operation and report malfunctions.
• Support scenario development and maintain lab operations at the facility.
• Configure and update the lab to meet training requirements.
• Manage lab training files and records.
• Plan, coordinate, schedule, and direct lab training operations and resources.
• Develop, operate, and maintain the simulation scenario library.
• Configure simulator capabilities to meet Annual Work Plan requirements.
• Maintain training documentation for compliance.
