Job summary

SAIC seeks an experienced, full-time Air Traffic Control Instructor-II to join the CTS team at the Anchorage TRACON (A11) in Anchorage, AK. The role focuses on delivering high-quality classroom and simulation-based training for FAA air traffic control personnel, with mentoring responsibilities for students and RPOs.

The candidate must have FAA CPC certification and be able to obtain/maintain instructor certifications for simulation labs and classrooms.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or as a contract Instructor at an FAA facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide variety of students, including developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) as needed and participate in curriculum design and development.
