Job summary

BDO USA in Baton Rouge is seeking an Assurance Experienced Associate to prepare financial statements with disclosures and to apply GAAP as needed. You will document, validate, test, and assess client internal control systems while participating in reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

The role requires 1+ year of audit experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree (CPA path encouraged), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics required.
• Bachelor’s degree in other focus area and CPA certification required.
• One or more years of prior relevant audit experience required.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exams upon starting employment and actively pursuing completion of the exams required.
• Master’s in Accountancy preferred.
