• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics; CPA path required or CPA eligible.
• Experience in public accounting or audits is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Control Environment: document and validate operating effectiveness of internal control systems.
• GAAP: draft basic financial statements with disclosures and apply literature.
• Gaas: apply professional standards and communicate understanding within engagements.
• Methodology: follow BDO standards and ensure proper documentation of work papers.
• Research: investigate accounting topics and form initial treatment opinions.
