Job summary

BDO USA in Baton Rouge is seeking an Assurance Senior to coordinate the day-to-day audit process, including planning, fieldwork and wrap-up, with exposure to GAAP, SEC and PCAOB guidelines. You will be a client contact and may participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

You will supervise staff, draft complex financial statements with disclosures, and coach junior team members while ensuring quality and timely engagement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics required or CPA with related degree.
• Master’s degree in Accountancy preferred.
• Active CPA or eligibility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit plan, fieldwork and wrap-up activities.
• Supervise Audit Associates and review their work.
• Read SEC filings, tests and document control effectiveness.
• Plan and execute 404 internal control audits with deficiencies reviewed.
• Communicate findings to clients and engagement partners.
