Job summary

Jobot is recruiting an experienced Assurance Manager for a growing Midwest CPA firm. You will lead audit engagements, manage engagement teams, and advise clients on technical accounting matters.

The firm emphasizes a team-based advisory model and partner-ready tracks with opportunities to grow the practice across multiple offices. The successful candidate will have CPA status or pursuing it, 5+ years in public accounting, and strong GAAP knowledge, leadership, and client service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA license is required or actively pursuing licensure.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with focus on audit and assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Identify and communicate accounting, financial reporting, and operational risks.
• Provide recommendations to improve internal controls and financial reporting.
