Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting.
• Pursuing a masters degree in Accounting, preferred.
• Leadership experience, preferred.
• Actively pursuing school credits to become a CPA.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a structured on-the-job training program and become familiar with GAAP and GAAS.
• Becomes familiar with BDO audit methodology to assist with audit stages.
• Provides support functions to the audit staff during engagement.
• Communicates with clients’ customers, creditors, banks and related parties regarding audit issues.
• Prepares and documents work in working papers using BDO tools and templates.
• Contributes ideas to audit teams and listens to other team members.
• Completes one assigned accounting or audit related research project and presents findings.
