Job summary

BDO USA, LLP invites energetic self-starters to join our Assurance internship in Orlando. You will start by applying your accounting education and organizational skills as you support a dynamic client base and learn from experienced colleagues.

You will train in GAAP/GAAS, adopt BDO audit methodologies, and contribute to engagements with guidance on problem solving, documentation, and presenting findings. A CPA path is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting; required.
• Pursuing a master's degree in Accounting preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Actively pursuing CPA credits.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a structured on-the-job training program and learns GAAP/GAAS.
• Learns BDO audit methodology to assist with audit stages.
• Provides support to the audit staff during engagements.
• Communicates with clients and related parties about audit issues.
• Documents work in working papers using BDO templates.
• Contributes ideas to the audit teams and presents findings.
• Completes an accounting or audit research project as assigned.
• Other duties as required.
