Baylor University in Waco, TX seeks an Associate Vice President of Alumni and Volunteer Engagement to develop and oversee engagement programs across alumni, volunteers and donors. The role focuses on communication, experiential, philanthropic and volunteer engagement, with oversight of Volunteer Engagement, National Engagement and Annual Giving.

A bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant work experience are required; a master’s degree and ten years are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Seven years of relevant work experience are required.
• Experience with alumni, volunteer and donor engagement a plus.

Responsabilités

• Establish and achieve annual volunteer goals aligned with Baylor in Deeds plan.
• Collaborate with divisional and university colleagues to align objectives and enhance student experience and philanthropy.
• Lead and manage the annual giving enterprise to grow donor base and philanthropic revenue.
• Coordinate with advancement teams to integrate annual giving with major gift pipelines.
• Develop and track engagement metrics across four engagement modes, in partnership with the AVP for Engagement.
• Serve as front-line engagement officer with leadership to engage high-profile volunteers and donors.
• Collaborate with Board of Regents and external partners to position Baylor as an industry leader in advancement.
• Perform all other duties to support Baylor’s mission and maintain regular attendance.
