Job summary

Annual Giving Network LLC seeks an Assistant Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving to lead a comprehensive alumni strategy and fundraising program. The AVC will set strategic direction, oversee engagement, solicitation, and governance, and partner with senior university leadership to align programs with campaign goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant area or a Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience providing comparable knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrated success in alumni engagement and fundraising campaigns.
• Experience using advancement CRM systems, fundraising analytics, and dashboard reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive, multi-year strategy for alumni engagement and annual giving aligned with priorities and campaign goals.
• Integrate alumni engagement with the full advancement continuum to strengthen donor pipeline development.
• Develop and manage annual business plans, budgets, and resource allocations for alumni engagement and annual giving.
• Provide administrative supervision to 6 employees, including hiring, performance expectations, reviews, and discipline.
• Serve as strategic advisor to senior university leadership on engagement and philanthropic growth strategies.
• Represent Advancement on institutional committees and external events and programs.
